Management Confirms That African Alliance Is Now Fully Operational.

African Alliance Insurance Plc, a specialist in life insurance, has responded to concerns raised in a recent publication in a national daily and clarified the situation at the organization. The management of the underwriting firm reassures all stakeholders that African Alliance is fully operational.

During a telephone conversation with Mr. Wasiu Amal, the Executive Director (Technical) of the company, he stated, “First and foremost, we want to assure all our stakeholders that African Alliance is still very much operational and committed to paying all genuine claims. Annuity payments have also commenced and are being processed diligently, ensuring their completion as soon as possible. We have communicated the payment progress to our customers through multiple channels. Additionally, all pending claims will be honored in due course, as we are fully dedicated to resolving these matters.”

Regarding recent operational adjustments, Amao clarified, “It is essential to understand that African Alliance has not shut down. Due to the nationwide protests that began on August 1, we temporarily transitioned to remote work to ensure the safety of our staff and clients. However, critical staff members were present throughout the protest period, and full onsite operations resumed on Thursday, August 8, 2024. We apologize for any inconvenience this temporary measure may have caused and appreciate the understanding of our stakeholders during this period.”
