Justice Ambrose Lewis-Allagoa has issued an order stopping the Federal Government from moving forward with the establishment of the national carrier, Nigeria Air. This decision came after granting the requests of the plaintiffs, which include the Registered Trustees of the Airline Operators of Nigeria and five other aviation companies.The judge approved all the requested reliefs except for the ₦2 billion in damages that the plaintiffs sought for their exclusion and the alleged improper bidding and selection process for the Nigeria Air project.The plaintiffs in the case are the Registered Trustees of the Airline Operators of Nigeria, Azman Air Services Limited, Air Peace Limited, Max Air Limited, United Nigeria Airlines Company Limited, and Topbrass Aviation Limited.
