This weekend will see the highly anticipated 210th North London derby as Arsenal travels to the Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium to face their fierce rivals. With a rivalry that spans over a century, the North London derby is considered one of the most intense in English football, with both Arsenal and Tottenham vying for ultimate bragging rights.
Having won 87 matches against their neighbors and with 55 matches ending in draws, Arsenal will be aiming for a third consecutive victory at the home of their arch-rivals following a disappointing home draw against Brighton and Hove Albion last weekend. Their mission is to maintain their position at the top, competing with the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool.
The North London derby will be broadcast live on DStv ch 203 and GOtv ch 66, at 2 pm on Sunday. Arsenal Manager, Mikel Arteta, is currently concerned about the fitness of captain Martin Odegaard, who suffered an ankle sprain while on international duty with Norway.
New signing Riccardo Calafiori is also a doubt for the match, while Declan Rice will miss the derby due to suspension. Manchester United will kick off the Premier League weekend with a visit to Saint Mary’s Stadium to face newly promoted Southampton at 12:30 pm on Saturday.
Tune in to DStv ch 203 and GOtv ch 66 at 12:30 pm on Saturday to enjoy the match. In the 3 pm kick-off on Saturday, defending champions Manchester City will host Brentford, broadcasting live on DStv ch 203 and GOtv ch 66, while Liverpool welcomes Nottingham Forest to Anfield. Chelsea will travel to Bournemouth for a 5:30 pm match, which will also be broadcast live on DStv ch 203 and GOtv ch 66.
