Laleye Dipo reporting from Minna:
In a tragic incident in the Barkin-Sale area of Minna, the capital of Niger state, a 29-year-old man named Muzamir Abubakar has been accused of killing his 60-year-old father, Abubakar Adawa Tsonga.
The shocking discovery of the deceased’s mutilated body was made after he had been missing since Monday. Concerned neighbors and good Samaritans had launched a search for him.
Unfortunately, the body of Tsonga was found buried in a shallow grave within his own house. It was discovered that he had been placed inside a cement sack, with his head, legs, and other body parts missing.
In light of these horrific findings, Abubakar, the son, has been arrested and is currently being held at the Kpakungu Police Station while investigations into the incident commence.
Upon reaching out to the State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Superintendent of Police Wasiu Abiodun, he promised to provide more information but failed to do so before the press deadline.
