Mtn Customers Engage In Protest Over Service Disruptions

Subscribers of the MTN Mobile in Osogbo, Osun State, gathered in protest at the MTN office yesterday. Their objective was to retrieve their Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) cards which were blocked over the weekend.

According to reports, some customers had registered their names since Saturday, but those who visited the office today were left wondering why they were not attended to. One disappointed customer, Toba, expressed his frustration to Daily Sun, mentioning that elderly and pregnant women were given special treatment and allowed to wait inside the premises.

“I was here on Saturday and was only able to write down my name in a list provided. So, when I got here today (Monday), they called the list and I was attended to, but elderly people and pregnant women were allowed to sit on the premises before being called upon,” Toba said.
