Former Apc National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, Dismisses Claims Of A Possible Military Coup Amid The Ongoing #Endbadgovernance Protests In Nigeria.

The former governor of Edo State and Senator representing Edo South, Adams Oshiomhole has stated that he firmly believes that regime change or military takeover is not a viable option for Nigeria amidst the ongoing #EndBadGovernance protests.

Speaking on Arise TV, Oshiomhole dismissed the idea of a faceless group demanding regime change as impossible and unfounded.

Recently, some protesters under the #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria movement expressed a desire to oust President Bola Tinubu’s administration due to the country’s hardships.

While appearing on the Arise News Morning Show, the prominent All Progressives Congress (APC) member emphasized his stance, stating, “There is no room for regime change or military takeover. It’s impossible for an amorphous group to demand regime change.”

Oshiomhole commended Tinubu for his patience and his approach in addressing these issues. He highlighted the importance of commissioning industries as a means to alleviate hunger and emphasized that he did not call for a regime change during his protest days. He expressed concern about politicians trying to hijack the protests for their own agendas.

While peaceful protests can be used to advocate for regime change, Oshiomhole firmly believes that it should not be considered as a solution in Nigeria’s current circumstances.
