In theaters nationwide on Sept. 12, Gods Not Dead: In God We Trust is the latest installment in the popular Christian franchise Gods Not Dead. Dean Cain returns as Marc Shelley, reprising his role as the shady land developer he played in the original film released in 2014.
Prior to the film’s release, Mr. Cain graciously agreed to a one-on-one interview.
While not faith-based, Top Gun: Maverick resonated with audiences due to its clear moral message and embrace of patriotism, something that the left often fails to appreciate.
There are significant reasons why “In God We Trust” is printed on our currency and why the Declaration of Independence acknowledges that we are endowed by our Creator with certain inalienable rights. However, it is disturbing that a high school football coach can get in trouble for leading a prayer before or after a game. This is an excessive measure. Even witnesses in court cases have to say “so help me God” before testifying. I firmly believe that the government should not have the authority to dictate thoughts or restrict individuals’ chosen faith.
