300 Unemployed Youth Graduates From Skills Hub, Foundation Training Program.

Ishk Tolaram Foundation, an organization dedicated to advancing Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Nigeria, has successfully graduated 300 unemployed youth from its skill hub program. The foundation recently held its annual vocational skilling graduation and conference in Lagos to celebrate the achievements of these graduates.

Oje Ivagba, the Programme Director at Ishk Tolaram Foundation, praised the determination and commitment shown by the 300 participants in the program. The conference, themed “Advancing TVET in Nigeria: Standardization, Curriculum Development, and Certification,” emphasized the importance of aligning TVET programs with industry demands and global standards.

Ivagba emphasized Ishk Tolaram Foundation’s ongoing efforts to promote collaboration and create a lasting impact on vocational education in Nigeria. He stated, “This event demonstrates our organization’s commitment to enhancing the quality of life in Nigeria through skills development and health interventions. We celebrate the achievements of over 300 youths who, after completing the vocational skills training program, have transitioned from unemployment to meaningful employment.”

The graduation ceremony also recognized the accomplishment of over 300 youths from the Ishk Skills Hub, who successfully completed training in various vocational skills. Thirty-one exceptional graduates were honored with the Ishk Award for Excellence, acknowledging their outstanding dedication and application of skills throughout the program.

The event was attended by representatives from esteemed organizations such as the Nigerian Institute of Building (NIOB), Nigeria Employers Consultative Association (NECA), Nigerian Association of Small Scale Industrialists (NASSI), National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), and the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment.
