Cavista Technologies Expands Global Reach with Botswana Office, Creating 500 Jobs
Cavista Technologies, a Nigeria-based global technology services company, has announced the opening of its new office in Botswana, as part of its commitment to grow its presence in the African market. This expansion is expected to create over 500 high-skill IT jobs.
The new office, located in the heart of Gaborone’s business district, was officially opened by Botswana’s President, Dr. Mokgweetsi Eric Keabetswe Masisi. During the opening ceremony, the President and other guests were given a tour of the office complex.
John Olajide, Chairman of Cavista Holdings, expressed the company’s commitment to Botswana, stating, “We are here for the long haul. Botswana’s youth present a tremendous opportunity for us to create jobs and drive innovation. Together, we will transform lives.” Olajide also revealed that in the next year, Cavista plans to employ 100 highly skilled professionals in Botswana, with the goal of reaching 500 IT jobs in the long term.
The decision to invest in Botswana was the result of extensive conversations between Cavista Holdings and President Masisi. Olajide emphasized the importance of the strong relationship built on trust between the company and the government.
President Masisi welcomed Cavista’s entry into Botswana, stating, “This marks the beginning of a partnership built on shared values and a belief in Botswana’s potential as a key player in the global business landscape.”

The opening ceremony was attended by Botswana’s Vice President, the Minister of Trade and Industry, other government officials, the U.S. Ambassador to Botswana, business leaders, and executives from Cavista Holdings.
