etranzact, in partnership with the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) at Pan Atlantic University, has conducted a comprehensive survey to gauge the level of knowledge and preparedness of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) towards the utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The launch event, held at etranzact office in Lagos, emphasized that this collaboration has the potential to shape the future of the Nigerian economy. The survey results will not only prove valuable to the government at both state and federal levels, but also to policymakers, investors, industry observers, and other strategic stakeholders. This wealth of information will be utilized for effective planning, decision making, and policy design.
During the launch, Mr. Niyi Toluwalope, the Managing Director/CEO of eTranzact International, expressed the significance of this partnership by stating, “Today, we are embarking on a movement that will equip our Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) for the fast-paced world of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Our collaboration with the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) in spearheading the AI Readiness Survey showcases our commitment to driving innovation and ensuring that every business thrives in this digital era.”

The Director for Programs and Partnerships at the Enterprise Development Centre, Dr. Olawale Anifowose, stressed the importance of Nigeria joining the rest of the world in embracing AI, given the ever-evolving business landscape and the significant benefits AI offers.
