Mamador, a leading premium food brand in Nigeria’s Vegetable Oil and Spread sectors, has finalized its plans to host the 5th edition of its annual August Meeting on Friday, August 30, 2024. This year’s event will take place at Sheba Hall in Maryland, Lagos.
The August Meeting is a highly regarded tradition that brings together Igbo women from both Nigeria and other countries to discuss matters related to community development and various socio-economic and cultural initiatives.
The day will be filled with activities, keynote speeches, and panel sessions featuring distinguished speakers, celebrities, and influencers covering topics such as health, parenting, entrepreneurship, wealth creation, fitness, and general well-being.
An impressive lineup of speakers, celebrities, and influencers has been selected to address the conference, including health influencer and medical doctor Egemba Chinonso, popularly known as Aproko Doctor; finance and wealth coach Sola Adesakin; certified parenting coach Sandra Oluwadare; certified financial education instructor Tomie Balogun; and celebrity actress and fitness enthusiast, Kate Henshaw.
Each speaker will share their thoughts on critical topics related to health and finance. Aproko Doctor will delve into the subject of Health and Food Choices, Sola Adesakin will discuss Wealth and the Woman, Sandra Oluwadare will speak on Parenting in this Generation, and Tomie Balogun will provide insights on You are a Business. The event is expected to draw 2000 women, with 500 attending in person.
The theme of this year’s event, Nourish to Flourish: Elevating Health and Wealth, emphasizes the importance of women prioritizing their health and overall well-being while striving to build wealth. Chioma Mbanugo, Head of Marketing at PZ Wilmar Food Limited, expressed that the annual gathering aims to recognize and celebrate Nigerian women for their hard work, resilience, and determination to succeed, despite any obstacles they may face. Additionally, three women in attendance who participate in a competitive business pitch will have the opportunity to win a cumulative prize of 3.5 million naira.
Mbanugo highlighted the event’s focus on health and financial empowerment as a reflection of the brand’s commitment to the well-being of Nigerian women nationwide. She assured consumers, celebrities, and staff members that a memorable experience awaits them.
For the past four years, Mamador has brought together women from Nigeria and abroad to empower them and encourage meaningful discussions.
