At least eight members of the House of Representatives elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State have resolved their dispute with Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa regarding the outcome of the party’s primary election.
Earlier, eight members of the APC caucus had expressed their disagreement over Aiyedatiwa being chosen as the candidate for the governorship election scheduled for November 16 in the state.
However, the aggrieved lawmakers have now visited the governor and pledged their support for him in the upcoming election.
They have decided to set aside their differences arising from the primary election and unite behind the governor to secure victory in the governorship election.
Represented by four of the eight members, the caucus publicly declared their support during a courtesy visit to the governor at the Presidential Lodge of the Government House in Akure, the state capital.
