Coach Augustine Eguavoen has expressed confidence in his team as they prepare for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Rwanda’s Amavubi at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali on Tuesday.
“We are currently in good form and the atmosphere in the camp is excellent. Everyone is determined to secure the three points in Rwanda and maintain our position at the top of the qualifying table. We are here with a clear objective, and I am pleased that everyone is fully focused,” Eguavoen said.
The team arrived in Rwanda well in advance, allowing the players to have sufficient rest before the official training session scheduled for this afternoon,” he added.
The Nigerian delegation, consisting of 23 players, team officials, and NFF representatives, led by President Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, departed from Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo on Sunday and arrived at Kigali International Airport at 5.20pm local time.
